The Heighington Bushido Kai was formed in 1971 in the village of Heighington, Lincolnshire by the Club President Sensei Trevor Potter 7th dan.
Today the Heighington Bushido Kai is a fully-fledged association, a member of the English Karate Federation, having grown from one to six clubs.
